담임목사를 위한 기도

2025년 한 해가 오늘이 지나면 딱 보름이 남습니다. 목회자에게 있어서 연말은 한 해를 은혜 가운데 정리하고, 새해를 믿음으로 준비해야 하는 중요한 시기입니다. 특별히 앞으로의 2주는 더욱 소중한 시간입니다. 이 기간 동안 저의 상황과 기도 제목을 여러분과 나누고자 합니다.

첫째, 성령의 음성을 듣는 귀가 되게 하소서. 목회자는 설교를 많이 하다 보니, 때로는 내가 선포한 말씀이 나 자신이라고 착각할 때가 있습니다. 그래서 하나님 앞에서 자신을 비추어 보고 들을 수 있는 시간이 꼭 필요합니다. 이번 2주 동안 저는 새벽설교를 하지 않습니다. 새벽기도는 계속되지만, 주님의 음성을 듣는 시간을 더 많이 가지려 합니다. 성도님들도 이번 기간 동안 주님 앞에 귀 기울이는 시간을 함께 가지셨으면 좋겠습니다.

둘째, 분주함에 휘둘리지 않고 우선순위대로 살게 하소서. 연말에는 심방도, 만나야 할 분들도, 위로해야 할 분들도 많습니다. 그러나 시간은 한정되어 있습니다. 모든 일을 대할 때 주님의 이끄심을 따라 행할 수 있도록 기도하고 있습니다.

셋째, 특새를 위한 말씀의 영이 임하게 하소서. 이번 특새의 주제인 "보라 내가 새 일을 행하리니"는 지난 네팔 선교 때 하나님께서 주신 말씀입니다. 앞으로 2주 동안 하루하루 하나님께서 주시는 말씀으로 채워지기를 소망합니다. 이 말씀이 온전히 준비될 수 있도록 기도해 주시기를 부탁드립니다.

마지막으로, 12월 29일부터 1월 17일까지 진행되는 특별새벽기도회를 위해 함께 기도해 주시고, 성회를 통해 Way Maker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper 되시는 하나님을 깊이 만나시기를 간절히 바랍니다.

'PRAYER FOR SENIOR PASTOR'

As of today, only fifteen days remain in the year 2025. For pastors, the end of the year is a very important season—a time to conclude the year in God's grace and to prepare for the new year in faith. The next two weeks are especially precious, and I would like to share my situation and prayer requests with you.

1. May my ears be opened to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit. Pastors preach often, and at times we may fall into the illusion that the message we proclaim is our own. For this reason, we need moments to reflect on ourselves before the Lord and truly listen. During the next two weeks, I will not be giving the early morning sermons. Although the early morning prayer meetings will continue, I will devote more time to quietly listening before God. I hope that you, too, will take this opportunity to spend time listening to the Lord.

2. Help me not to be overwhelmed by busyness, but to live according to the right priorities. Year-end brings many responsibilities—visits, meetings, and comforting those in need. Yet our time is limited. I pray that in everything I do, I may follow the leading of the Lord.

3. May the Spirit of the Word rest upon the upcoming special early morning services. The theme for this year's special services, "Behold, I am doing a new thing," was given by God during our mission trip to Nepal. I desire to receive His daily word throughout these two weeks. Please pray that every message will be fully prepared and filled with God's guidance.

Lastly, I ask you to pray for the Special Early Morning Prayer Services from December 29 to January 17, and I sincerely hope that through this gathering you will encounter our God—the Way Maker, Miracle Worker, and Promise Keeper.
