북한을 위한 기도의 자리로 초대합니다

기도하면 할수록, 주님께서 우리 교회에 주신 이름, “글로벌 비전교회”가 얼마나 귀한

이름인지 새삼 느끼게 됩니다. 주님은 우리 교회에 작지만 귀한 사명을 주셨습니다.

열방을 품고, 열방에 교회를 세우는 일. 이 이름 그대로, 우리가 열방을 위해 중보할

때 주님께서는 어떤 이들에게 북한에서 시작해 무슬림권과 이스라엘까지 이어지는

세계 지도를 기도 가운데 보여주시기도 하셨습니다.

비록 우리의 능력은 작지만, 그 부르심에 순종할 때 주님은 곳곳에서 풍성한 열매를

맺게 하셨습니다.

우리가 열방을 위해 기도할 때, 결코 잊어서는 안 될 땅끝이 있습니다. 바로 우리의

조국, ‘북한’입니다. 북한은 수년째 세계에서 가장 심한 기독교 박해 지역 1위로

기록되고 있습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 그 땅에는 여전히 지하교회가 존재하며,

사방의 문이 닫혀 있는 듯 보이지만 수많은 중보자들과 선교사들이 그 땅을 향해

쉬지 않고 기도하며 사역하고 있습니다.

이번 주말, 우리 교회는 북한 선교를 위한 특별 집회를 갖습니다.

선교 동원가 박원철 목사님과 세 명의 탈북 사역자가 함께 북한 선교의 현실과

간증을 나눠주실 예정입니다.

박원철 목사님은 미전도 종족 선교의 길로 우리 교회를 이끌어 주셨고, 오랜 시간

북한 사역을 실제적으로 감당해 오신 분입니다. 이번 집회는 금요일과 주일 1, 2부

예배로 총 세 번 진행됩니다.

이 짧은 세 번의 집회를 통해 우리 모두가 북한을 더욱 가슴에 품고, 기도의 불을

다시 뜨겁게 붙이는 시간이 되기를 소망합니다.

The more I pray, the more I come to cherish the name the Lord has given our

church — Global Vision Church. Though we may be small, the Lord has

entrusted us with a precious mission: to embrace the nations and plant

churches throughout the world. True to our name, as we intercede for the

nations, some among us have seen visions during prayer — maps that begin

with North Korea and stretch across the Muslim world to Israel.

Though our strength is small, we have obeyed the Lord’s calling, and He has

borne much fruit in many places through our obedience.

As we pray for the nations, we must never forget the ends of the earth — our

homeland, North Korea. North Korea has long been ranked as the most

dangerous place in the world for Christians, where persecution is the most

severe. Yet even now, underground churches still exist there. Though every

door seems closed, countless intercessors and missionaries continue to labor

and pray for that land.

This weekend, we will hold a special gathering focused on North Korea

missions.

Rev. Wonchul Park, a mobilizer and long-time missionary to North Korea, will

join us along with three North Korean defectors who will share their testimo-

nies and offer insight into the reality of missions in North Korea. Rev. Park has

been a key figure in leading our church into frontier missions and has faithfully

carried out hands-on ministry in this field for many years.

The gathering will be held during three services: Friday evening, and both

Sunday morning services.

Through these three gatherings, we pray that our hearts will burn even more

deeply for North Korea and that we will rise again as faithful intercessors for

that land.
