초대 교회가 말하는 선교적인 ‘그 교회’

초대 교회가 말하는 선교적인 ‘그 교회’ 지난 성금요일과 부활주일을 우리는 큰 은혜 가운데 잘 보냈습니다.

이제 오순절을 향해 나아가고 있습니다.

오순절을 기다리면서, 저는 금요일과 주일 설교를 통해 두 가지 주제로 시리즈를 진행하려고 합니다.

첫째, “기본으로 돌아가라”는 주제 아래 참된 교회의 모습을 살펴보고자 합니다.

이를 위해 초대교회의 모습을 돌아보며 성경이 말하는 교회의 본질을 함께 나누겠습니다.

둘째, 저희와 협력하고 있는 PGM의 핵심 가치 7가지를 살펴보려고 합니다.

이 핵심 가치들은 모두 사도행전에 나타난 초대교회에서 그 원리를 찾은, 매우 성경적인 가치들입니다.

오늘은 그 7가지 핵심 가치를 간략하게 정리해 드리겠습니다.

앞으로 평생 우리 교회가 지향해야 할 가치이니 꼭 숙지하시고, 금요·주일 설교를 통해 큰 도전의 시간이 되시기를 기도합니다.

1. 성령충만 중심선교 (행 1-7) 선교적인 교회는 말씀에 순종하며 기도에 전념하여 성령 충만함이 있는 교회입니다.

2. 디아스포라 중심선교 (행 8:1-11:19) 선교적인 교회는 목회자뿐만이 아닌 흩어지는 그리스도인 디아스포라 성도들이 흩어져간 곳에서 세워가는 교회입니다.

3. Here & Now 중심선교 (행 11:20-21) 선교적인 교회는 흩어져 살고 있는 자신의 삶의 현장인 지금 여기서부터 선교하는 교회입니다.

4. 전문인 중심선교 (행 11:22-24) 선교적인 교회는 지역교회의 모든 성도들이 지체로서의 전문인 선교사로 세워지는 교회입니다.

5. 지역교회 중심선교 (행 11:25-12:25) 선교적인 교회는 지역교회 안에서 성도들을 선교사로 훈련, 양육하여 ‘그리스도인’으로 세상 속에서 파송하는 교회입니다.

6. 교회설립 중심선교 (행 13:1-21:14) 선교적인 교회는 복음을 전파하여 그 결과로 가는 곳마다 지역교회를 세워가는 교회입니다.

7. 땅끝 중심선교 (행 21:15-28:31) 선교적인 교회는 땅끝까지 복음을 전파하는 교회입니다.

앞으로 평생 우리 교회가 지향해야 할 가치이니 꼭 숙지하시고 금요, 주일 설교를 통해 큰 도전의 시간이 되시기를 기도합니다.

The Missional “That Church” Spoken of by the Early Church

We have just passed through Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday in great grace, and now we are moving toward Pentecost. As we wait for Pentecost, I would like to lead a sermon series on Fridays and Sundays with two main themes.First, under the theme “Back to the Basics,” we will reflect on the true nature of the church by looking at the example of the early church. Through this, we will rediscover the biblical essence of what the church is meant to be.Second, we will examine the seven core values of PGM, with whom we partner in ministry. These values are deeply rooted in the early church found in the Book of Acts and are thoroughly biblical.Today, I will briefly introduce these seven core values.

1. Spirit-Empowered Mission (Acts 1–7)A missional church is one that obeys the Word, devotes itself to prayer, and is filled with the Holy Spirit.

2. Diaspora-Centered Mission (Acts 8:1–11:19)A missional church is not built only by pastors, but by scattered believers—diaspora Christians—who establish the church wherever they go.

3. Here & Now Mission (Acts 11:20–21)A missional church carries out its mission right where believers are—beginning here and now in the context of everyday life.

4. Marketplace (Professional) Mission (Acts 11:22–24)A missional church equips all its members to live as professional (vocational) missionaries in their respective fields.

5. Local Church–Centered Mission (Acts 11:25–12:25)A missional church trains and nurtures believers within the local church and sends them into the world as true Christians.

6. Church-Planting Mission (Acts 13:1–21:14)A missional church proclaims the gospel and, as a result, establishes local churches wherever it goes.

7. Ends-of-the-Earth Mission (Acts 21:15–28:31)A missional church proclaims the gospel to the very ends of the earth.

These are the values that our church must pursue for a lifetime. I encourage you to take them to heart, and I pray that through the Friday and Sunday messages, this will become a time of great challenge and grace for all of you.
