가족 구원에 힘써야 합니다

오늘날 세상을 바라보면 우리가 마지막 때를 살아가고 있음을 더욱 실감하게 됩니다. 전쟁과 자연재해, 이상기후, 사회의 분열, 그리고 사랑과 진리가 점점 사라져 가는 모습은 성경이 예언한 말세의 징조를 떠올리게 합니다. 그러나 이러한 징조에도 불구하고 많은 사람들은 여전히 하나님께 마음을 열지 않고 살아갑니다.

예수님께서는 마지막 때를 노아의 시대에 비유하셨습니다. 사람들이 세상의 즐거움에 빠져 있을 때에도 노아는 끝까지 하나님을 신뢰했고, 결국 온 가족을 구원의 방주로 인도했습니다. 노아의 가장 위대한 업적은 방주를 만든 것이 아니라, 가족 모두가 구원을 받도록 이끈 것이었습니다.

우리 주변에도 아직 예수님을 알지 못하는 부모님과 형제자매, 친척들이 있습니다. 또한 팬데믹 이후 교회를 떠나 신앙생활을 멈춘 가족들도 적지 않습니다. 그래서 이번 한국 방문의 중요한 목적 가운데 하나는 믿지 않는 가족들을 찾아뵙고 복음을 전하는 것입니다. 하나님께서 허락하신 귀한 기회를 통해 그들이 예수님을 만날 수 있기를 간절히 소망합니다.

아직 은혜의 문이 열려 있을 때 사랑하는 가족들의 구원을 위해 더욱 간절히 기도하시기 바랍니다. 또한 하나님께서 복음을 전할 기회를 허락해 주시도록 함께 기도해 주십시오.

이제 곧 가을 아가페 축제가 시작됩니다. VIP 기도명단에 무엇보다 먼저 가족들의 이름을 올려놓고 기도하시기 바랍니다. 우리 가족 모두가 예수 그리스도를 믿고 구원의 은혜를 함께 누리는 그날까지 포기하지 말고 기도하며 사랑으로 복음을 전하는 우리 모두가 되기를 소망합니다.

Make Every Effort to Save Your Family

As we look at the world today, it is becoming increasingly clear that we are living in the last days. Wars, natural disasters, extreme weather, growing division, and the loss of love and truth all remind us of what Scripture foretold. Yet, despite these signs, many people still turn away from God.

Jesus compared the last days to the days of Noah. While people were consumed with worldly pleasures, Noah remained faithful to God and led his entire family into the ark. His greatest achievement was not building the ark. It was seeing his whole family saved.

Many of us still have parents, siblings, or relatives who do not know Christ or who have drifted away from the church. This is why one of the main purposes of my trip to Korea is to visit families and share the gospel, especially with those who have not yet believed. Perhaps this may be their opportunity to hear the good news.

Please pray earnestly for the salvation of your family while the door of grace is still open. Ask God to give you opportunities to share the gospel with them.

As our Fall Agape Outreach approaches, I encourage you to place the names of your family members on your VIP prayer list. May we never give up praying until every member of our family comes to know Jesus Christ.
